India’s political situation has been fraught for years.
The country’s Chief Minister has always had a strong grip on power and has been on a relentless campaign to get rid of the BJP.
His party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is seen as a threat to the BJP in the state of Uttar Pradesh, which the party holds by a wide margin.
In the past, the chief minister has been accused of sexual harassment, assault and child abuse and his family and friends have been targeted by his political opponents.
His political rivals, the Congress party, have also made the issue a focus.
In 2015, the then chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, was charged with molesting three of his children, aged 13, 15 and 16.
His son Yogi, who was a minister in the BJP government, was accused of molesting the girls, while the other three children were allegedly abused by the father.
The charges were dropped, and the chief Minister was acquitted.
The case has been reopened and Aditya has said he has forgiven the accused.
However, a new scandal has emerged over a new allegation that the son of the Chief Minister abused a 12-year-old girl in his own home in the capital, Lucknow.
The allegations have raised questions about the ethics of the CM and his son.
The news has also stirred up fears in the city that the party may win the upcoming Assembly elections, as the Chief minister is yet to step down from power.
The chief minister’s son is the BJP’s candidate in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
But in a move that may make the story even more explosive, the son, who is currently an MP, has filed a petition with the Delhi High Court to have his name removed from the list of candidates in the upcoming elections.
The Delhi High court has ordered that the chief ministerial’s son be removed from his nomination for the elections.
Meanwhile, a senior Congress leader, Ravi Shankar Prasad, has claimed that the BJP is “the most corrupt” political party in the country.
Prasam has called for an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of the 12-years-old and has alleged that the Chief Minster is responsible for the scandal.
This is the latest in a series of controversies surrounding the Chief Ministers son.
He was also accused of assaulting a woman, allegedly for no apparent reason.
